Why do you think Karl Rove is making the rounds ??
Because they are deeply concerned. Their bucket of shit is full and about to run over on their shoes. What's the first thing they do? Attack the Democrats? Personally attack their opponents. Then they bring out family values, gay marriage, and a flag burning Amendment. Anything to get the attention off their own incompetence and major screw-ups...Their bucket is full...they don't don't have room for any more...Get ready...It's going to stink up the country pretty bad...

1. Desperation
has a unique odor.
It smells like Rove.

Stand back and let
the flush of the spin
take care of itself.

Fun times.

4. He does seem to be a busy boy these days.
He is scheduled to appear on MSNBC this evening on Scarborough (sp). That should be a disgusting love fest! Too bad I have rearrange my sock drawer tonight. I won't be able to catch it.

It's time to whip out the dirty bomb attack and kill a few thousand Americans. (of course in a blue state)

7. Do you really think that KR is going away after 2008? He's a player
for the long run. He's lining up "clients" and protegees for the future transformation of this country into whatever he thinks is best. And it doesn't resemble anything the Founders considered.

8. Reinforcing the threats he has made to the media
Letting them know he still has what ever it is over them and will use it to squash them if they get to far out of line.

9. Rove the Inforcer - that gets my vote.
I think they have enough thugs that they are not really scared. Sometimes just concerned they have to put all their bullies into play. When they're all in play, it's hard to hide things.

10. If I had known that he was speaking in NY last night...
I would have seriously considered protesting. He's smearing all of us with his crap that "liberals don't understand 9/11", which is pretty damned insulting to a New Yorker.

11. Let Them Get On With It
Nobody's listening except the wingnuts, anyway - and they're a lost cause.

Dems have to keep the focus on the DSM!

13. You would think the most Americans would be tired of this shit by now.
I am sure that most of Americans recognize it for what it is. But I don't hear any major Dem politician calling it like it is. If just two or three would say exactly what the poster has said the next time they are asked a question on major cable talk shows, that would be enough for me. But instead, they will act defensively, try to stick to the point and tell the truth when all they really need to do is evade the point and call the Republicans desperate, liars who are now pulling out the big guns because people are on to their lies and people are sick of the war and the mortgaging of our future with the huge deficits caused by Bush's tax cuts and wars.

We never fight to win.

15. What I wonder is, why Rove? I mean, dude is not known as a particularly
dynamic speaker to my knowledge. Why him as opposed to other mouthpieces?

16. The golden halo the chimp wore after 9/11
Rove is trying to invoke some of that again by trying to rewrite history and say that the response to 9/11 was a Republican effort, and those weaselly Democrats were cowering under their beds. Ha! The reverse is true. Bush took off in AF-1 for parts unknown that morning, and wasn't there to lead. When he actually did speak up, he told everyone to go shopping!
