Now we know why the provision was included in the NCLB, that allowed collecting of information on children of 16 yrs and up, boys and girls, for recruitment purposes...

and notice in this article that it states SS eased it's own restrictions and gave information regarding persons of interest in terrorism investigations, to the gov't....who might that include? anyone who disagrees with their views?

Actually the NCLB Act didn't "allow" collection of the in formation. It REQUIRED it. The school is in danger of loosing it's federal funding if it doesn't report. And you thought it was about education.
