Biden, Obama, Lieberman...Silent on Rove's Smear
I just got off of the phone with a staff member from the offices of Biden, Lieberman and Obama. I asked if they would be calling on Rove to apologize for his smear on Democrats, especially since they were so quick to criticize Howard Dean's comments. I got the identical response from each office:

Quote: "The senator has no plans to say anything."

What Rove said was deplorable. Biden, Obama and Lieberman's silence is despicable.

Call them right now and DEMAND they go on record IMMEDIATELY to call for Rove's RESIGNATION.

Biden: (302) 573-6345
Lieberman: (202) 224-4041
Obama: (312) 595-0937

1. You can forget about Lieberman...
if anything, he'll agree with KKKarl. Obama needs to speak up more in general, and I just don't know about Biden.

2. EXCELLENT POINT. Though I didn't realize Lieberman was critical of
Dean since he took the chair position?

3. Lieberman being silent is no surprise, I don't understand Biden...
...and Obama saying nothing yet, but I believe they will soon join in to condemn both Rove for his statements and also the White House for their support of Rove's inflammatory statements.

4. I'm surprised by Biden, too
Obama is still "learning the ropes" and trying to avoid controversy most likely, and Joe-Mentum is a DINO, but Biden ... When he gave a speech in North/South Carolina (don't remember which) recently, he even mentioned how the WH had squandered the opportunity for unity it had after 9/11, so I'm really surprised he isn't repeating that in light of Rove's gross partisan remarks.

5. Biden: PNAC mouthpiece - corporate whore.
As for Obama, he has taken the timid pill and has been fitted for his pink tutu and is practicing his high kick dance steps.

13. How many times has he lined up on the wrong side?
When do we get to pronounce the media annointed Next Great Hope Obama as a Big Disappointment?

Which courageous stands has he taken since arriving in Washington that would falsify my massive disappointment with his actions?

In what respect have his actions since being sworn in merited your assertion that he is 'hands off' as he is a 'good dem'?

7. Call them anyway.
Force them to defend their position over and over and over again.

9. I think that every Liberal that has a son in the service or died in
Iraq should write every media and jump on this Rove statement..It just makes me sick, if you are a Liberal you should not have to go into the service because they need therapy.

11. Has Richie Daley spoken up?
He seems quite capable of commenting freely on things he knows nothing about. The Rove statement is a pretty nasty slur on Democrats and Progressives, and the last time I looked, Illinois and Chicago in particular had quite a number of both of those groups.

14. What Smear?
I'm sorry I've looked at Rove's comments a number of times and given the context that he was speaking to the Conservative Party, not Republicans I can only conclude he was speaking of the different ideology between liberals and conservatives.

Are all liberals Democrats?
Are there liberal Republicans?

I would assume there are many liberal Independents.
