Anyone out there good at turning a phrase?

I need help with phrasing and finishing a framing of an issue, i.e. religion/government...

I had the idea that we can turn it back at them

by saying something like......

Is your faith so weak, you need government to step in and make people comply?

or Do you not have enough faith in your church, to _____________?

or something on that order. Framing it as why don't you have faith and need the government to force feed it to us...
