Time to use Reverse-psychology on Rove!
Edited on Fri Jun-24-05 02:02 AM by pirhana
He was just on Scarborough saying how angry we are.
Angry about the election. Dean is angry. Angry angry angry.

Maybe his motivation here is to make us angry.

And if that is the case, he won.

Maybe we need to handle this in a different manner???
Maybe we should just laugh it off, and call him crazy? Say things like, "Can you believe what Rove said? That man must have forgot to take his meds"-

Instead of anger, how about humoring him? Making him look like a fool?

1. nah that is not it
what he is doing is something more insidious

He just accused you and me of trason...

He did more than that... he also is rewriting history, as the country was never as united as it was on Sept 12.

IMHO he is priming the country, either consiously or less likely unconsciously, for a hot civil war... they need an excuse to further consolidate power and elimnate their oposition.. oh like I don't know 1930s Germany? Yep the label is starting to stick, msotly if it walks like a duck and quaks like a duck... or if the shoe fits...

2. I've said it before, and I'll say it again.: It's psyops. Pure and simple.
Well, do you think we should be angry at someone when they mischaracterize us and we cannot respond?

Or do you think we should be zen about it, recognize it for what it is (psyops), and call them on it?

I think it's best to just say what it is they are doing right out loud--deliberately distorting in order to create division in the society and pit citizen against citizen.

4. Ok - I looked it up!
Main Entry: psyops
Part of Speech: noun
Definition: psychological operations carried out by the military, esp. to influence the attitudes and perceptions of individuals, organizations, or governments

It is a pyschological game is is playing with us, and he's winning.
That's why I'm thinking we need to change our response.
Talk about it, talk alot about it, but in a demeaning way, not in any angry manner.

3. Angry people make war. Calm people seek understanding.
We aren't angry, Karl. You are. You're just projecting your anger onto us. You really should get some therapy for that problem.
