Sorry, this guy can't compete with the guy who claimed that Fred Phelps and his RW protesters where from the Left, but he's close. I found this guys blog while researching another anti-scientific, anti-intellectual website. This guy is connected with a RW "disinformation" website who's banner header motto is,
"Subverting the Mainstream Media" called "Mens News Daily .com"
This is a very strange website. I not sure if this website is FOR the totally Brain-washed, or BY the Totally Brain-washed.
Regardless, the sites sub-premise is that
MEN are the victims of social activism and that someone needs to stand up for the "Rights of Men." And anyone who disagrees with them is "certifiably delusional." It's at this link: <
http://mensnewsdaily.com/index.htm>
Which brought me to the guys anti-intellectual blog. His motto should be
"Ignorance is bliss" but instead it's:
"A Pro-God, Pro-America, Pro-Life, Pro-Gun, Distinctly Middle-Class, Single, Hetero-sexual, White Guy's Take On Politics and Society" Here's a few gems from this guy, and remember, this is only one paragraph from each one of these links. This one is from a blog entry titled:
Rove vs. Durbin: A False Parallel, Dems Giving Durbin A Pass
at this link: <
http://mensnewsdaily.com/blog/malven/2005/06/rove-vs-durbin-false-parallel-dems.html>
"...The Democrats, and their allies in the extremist lobbying organizations know how wrong Durbin’s comments were and that his “apology” on Wednesday was anything but a legitimate apology. They know that such a comment could be damaging to their election hopes in 2006 so they are running to cover Durbin’s egregious statements by trumping up a comparison between Durbin’s comments and those made by Carl Rove at a conservative fund raiser. Okay, I know that you Liberals don’t care about the facts, or about truth in general, but I am going to lay out the differences between the two speeches anyway...."
And here's one from the blog entry where his is trying to convince anyone who will read it, that
ALL Conspiracies are un-true, and to those who try to uncover Conspiracies he says,
"...Those who work to destroy or bring down our government, whether from the extreme Left or the certifiably delusional, are traitors...."This is from a blog entry titled:
"What Really Happens at whatreallyhappened.com"
at this link:
<
http://mensnewsdaily.com/blog/malven/2005/06/what-really-happens-at.html>
"...Conspiracy theories abound, and those who wish to can wallow around in them without interruption. This does not make them evil, it makes them delusional. We cannot hate them but we cannot ignore them either, after all, they are working against our government and as I have seen first hand, there are a lot of them.
Anyone who is incapable of understanding the simple concept of “stuff happens” sometimes without any rhyme or reason will invariably search for some “cause” for the occurrence. This need for an explanation for every occurrence can lead them deeper and deeper into the world of conspiracies. The further they go down this path the more they see “explanations” which the rest of us “just won’t see.” Because of this, in their eyes, we become willing participants in these conspiracies (in my case, another Jeff Gannon), or idiots because we can’t see what to them seems obvious. They are incapable of understanding the simple Freudian statement that 'sometimes a cigar is just a cigar....'”
I think this is what it looks like when you are TOTALLY Brain-Washed. I'm beginning to wonder if Blogs are such a "good" thing.
