I am not finding any recent post devoted to this Thur.'s release of photos and video that I understand will show the rape of women and children at Abu Ghraib

I remember Sy Hersh (sp?) said that he had seen them, and he talked about hearing the screams of someone being raped on the video.

I don't think anyone knows exactly what we will see--because we haven't seen them yet. I'm not sure about the video. It is speculation whether we will see all the details that our congresscritters and Mr. Hersh saw.

the ACLU website. The photos are supposed to be released June 30 and the videos on (I think) July 22 because they have to blur the faces and objectionable anatomy.

did not find anything confirming the descriptions I've seen at DU. I did not download every available court document . . . if you have any more specific source, I'd appreciate it.

Believe me, it is NOT that I want to see the pics. I'm just tired of hearing conservatives kid themselves that the abuses aren't that serious, and I want others to be outraged . . . but I want to make sure I have the facts straight first.
