This constitutional ammendment will increase flag burning if ratified

It's just like drugs and alcohol with underage kids. People will start doing it because it is illegal and rebellious. I can't wait until they start trying to enforce this ridiculous law.

... and burn them on the steps of the Federal Building. There's almost nothing the Congress would do that 'desecrates' the flag more than amending the Constitution to limit human rights and increase Federal power.

Burning the flag in protest is a protest against the 'soiling' of the flag by our government. This amendment doesn't defend the flag, it attacks the civil liberties of common citizens and quashes political dissent - the most important kind of 'speech' - handing more power to petty tyrants.

5. I can't wait to see images...

of people being hauled away in police cars after burning a flag. And all these assholes who run around screaming about how free we are and how much we love freedom won't be able to criticize China or Russia or any other country for suppressing free speech.
I cannot believe I'm watching this country come to this (I can't even write "my country" anymore because I don't feel like it is). If the last four years were a proposed movie script I would have said it was too unfuckingbelievable to make into a film.
