I can't believe Bush is going to do the 9/11 shuffle tonight
His audience of Iraq-bound troops should give him the middle-finger salute in unison every time he mentions a different rationale for the invasion. It's just incredible to me that Bushco are still trying to frame their Bogus Iraqi Adventure as an extension of the War to Avenge 9/11. Even the MSM are beginning to snicker, for God's sake.

8. GOPers may really be...
According to the legal definition, they sincerely expect different results to emerge, therefore they are "...unable to appreciate the nature and quality or the wrongfulness of (their) acts."
http://www.lectlaw.com/def/d029.htm

You are obviously speaking about the street definition of insanity as mentioned in this common dreams article:

"The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over in the same way and expecting different results. The parallel between Iraqi vets and those of Vietnam is staggering. A study conducted in July reveals that mental illness suffered by soldiers serving in Iraq has reached Vietnam levels and 1 in 4 Marines surveyed reported killing Iraqi civilians while half reported handling human remains"

History is repeating itself.

3. Not only 9/11, but in his desperation to tie Iraq to 9/11, he will name
"Osama bin Forgotten." I loved the way the CNN correspondent said..."perhaps linking 9/11 and Iraq...

5. Bloodshed: bush says worth it!........ POS

man what a mother fucker"..send his daughters to Iraq NOW

"Like most Americans, I see the images of violence and bloodshed. Every picture is horrifying and the suffering is real," Bush said, according to excerpts released ahead of time by the White House. "It is worth it."

6. What's amazing is that so many people still buy it.
I visited my cousins in Dallas a few weeks back. at first, I screamed until I was blue in the face about the atrocities *&Co. have done. About the lies and the arogance of this administration. Most of my (I-though-seemingly-intelligent) cousins and their families STILL believe that Iraq had something to do with 9/11 and that we were winning the war on terror in Iraq. "Well, look, they have their own government now, and the insurgency is dying out," cousin Cindy actually said. It kills me.

10. Well, Our Fearless VP says the insurgents are in their final throes
What's cousin Cindy supposed to think? Never mind that President Dick and the rest of Bushco have either lied through their teeth or been dead wrong every single time they've opened their mouths on the subject of Iraq since the 2000 election. In order to know that, you'd have to have been paying attention.

11. So true!
Edited on Tue Jun-28-05 04:20 PM by Shredr
Why can't we get through to someone in the MSM? Someone has to see the hypocracy and blatant lying for what it is. Someone has to be willing to take a risk.

If Watergate were to happen now, would it be covered by the MSM or covered up?

On edit: I'm a terrible speller.
