Who watched the speech on PBS?
I did, and I'm glad! (I'll get to why in a minute)

First, a question:

Why does he need a barricade AND two SS agents between him and the troops?

Now, the after speech show was wonderful! I don't have names right now, I'm awful at that, but I taped it. Retirees from the Army and the Marines, and Richard? Olyphant. They clearly said that the people want to hear what conditions must be met before we leave Iraq. We didn't hear that, we heard generalizations and mumbo jumbo. They had a guy via satellite who thought * told us exactly what we needed to hear, things are going well, and we should believe.

The last show they have up is yesterday. Maybe it will be up tomorrow?

It was so nice to hear Military men say quagmire!

2. Oh, another question...
Why was he turning pages? I watched his eyes, they never looked down, but he would turn the page without looking.

12. Freakish body language
Did you see him drum his fingers on the side of the podium?

And during the one episode of applause, he gave a F-911, "my pet goat" series of blinks.

And was there a teleprompter involved? Cause I also noticed that he didn't look down.

Anyone see a mysterious box on his back?????

15. That's what makes no sense
If he has a teleprompter to read from, what are the pages for? If he never looks at the pages, why does he flip them?

The applause was the orchestrated one, maybe it scared him because everyone clapped at once, instead of natural progression?

Never saw his back, I don't think. I'll watch it again tomorrow just for the aftershow!

16. I was almost wondering
is he had some sort of projection device that we couldn't see, maybe towards the back of the room?

19. It was the backup system...
In case the monitor shut off, he would be able to keep reading. (Turn the page) it said at the bottom of the monitor...

21. I couldn't help it...I remembered
Those books with records and later tapes that I had as a child. You read along, and it made a little noise when it was time to turn the page. The way he jumped when he turned it a couple of times, I thought that his earpiece must be turned up too loud, making the sound much too shrill.

5. Answer: because he's the most hated "prez" in history
Remember all the precautions they took for his
stolen second inauguration? There was artillery
everywhere!!! All footed by us, the tax payers.

Rich Lowry was the one saying * did a good job. Oliphant was rather harsh on the pretzeldent.

17. I was at my spring through summer stop smoking class. Glad I didn't
see it, as my very hard work might have gone down the drain. I can't stand to listen to this guy at anytime, and especially not now. I try at this time to ignore him even more than usual.

20. congratulations on quitting smoking!
i quit about 10 years ago, and it was one of the hardest things i've ever done. i'm glad i quit then, because as bad as things are now, it would be even harder!

you'll start seeing dividends almost immediately, so keep up the good work! good luck...
