I'm sick of the PC "insurgent" talk!

Remember the old days when we had rebellions and rebels?

Now we have this yuppie-speak "insurgency" and "insurgent" talk. Anyone else feel the same way about this?

1. I like the term insurgent

Some people might call them terrorists and some might call them freedom fighters. Insurgent is a nice neutral term. All I ask for in my reporting is no bias.

2. How many foreign fighters are there against us?

They're Rebels if they are Iraqis.
They're Terrorists if they are foreign non-Coalition.
They're Occupiers if they are Coalition.

You're right though, I've been noticing that I'm un-comfortable with that word "Insurgency" too.

when did people locked in cells become "detainees"?? I've got a friend who thought he was a prisoner for all those many months he was in jail.

It was between federals and rebels, right? Who would refer to the war as an "insurgency," or call the rebel yell the "insurgent yell" I wonder?

5. And NOW Bushass is saying they are the ones we were originally

fighting! You can't fight an insurgent unless you start a war or a conflict. I tried so hard to not listen to that Big Fat Ass Wipe but I caught one sentence and it went something like this:

"We have to fight all the terrorists that are in Iraq"

IS THE WHOLE WORLD FUCKING CRAZY? WHY IS JOE SCARBOROUGH EVEN TALKING ABOUT THIS MAN IN THE BACK ROUND WHILE I TYPE.

It is like they are all in this surreal world and they are trying to bring all the other pod people with them. It is a bad grade B horror movie. And the most powerful people in the country are in staring roles!
