Observation About Speech That Reveals Just How Bad It Was

I was out at a dinner meeting, and returned home about 9:40 ET

Tuning into CNN, CNN Headline Fox and MSNBC, I was struck by the fact that they were each covering the Natalie Holloway story. Bizarre I thought, given the president's speech and the fact there is really no "news" about Natalie tonight.

Greta, Rivera - on location in Aruba. Nancy Grace, talking about Natalie and other sad stories. Hannity talking with Rivera about Halloway.

It was then that I realized, as we went into the 10 o'clock hour - the speech was so bad, conservatives wanted to stop talking about it. Hannity wanted to talk about someone - something else.

Even they (conservatives) know the speech was bad - that Bush has nothing to offer.

2. I refused (of course) to have this man's image in my

home so I didn't watch but it seems you have an excellent point. I'll never REALLY know since I'm not clicking on any threads about it, I won't watch any shows about it, I won't read any newspapers/articles about it - in fact, in my mind - he didn't happen tonight.
