"Testing America's Resolve"
Is it just me, or has Bush's ENTIRE presidency "tested America's resolve". I am so sick of this crap, and bringing up 9/11 in any speech about Iraq should be considered poor form by anyone, regardless of party affiliation.

The stock market under Bush has tested our resolve. Gas prices under Bush have tested our resolve.

He's the first president to have a significant attack on our country since most of us were born, yet somehow he gets CREDIT for that? So Clinton, Bush Sr, Reagan, Carter, Ford, etc,etc were just "lucky" something like 9/11 didn't happen on their watch? Someone please explain the logic.

And now we have Iraq where, Bush is "Testing America's Resolve" for the 3rd year now. We've spit on the UN, lost allies in Europe, and gained enemies in the Middle East. We've become the nationalistic society that those who truly hated us prior to the invasion always wanted to characterize us as before.

We are 4 1/2 years in George, and you've tested all our resolve. As a younger taxpayer, your presidency will probably "test my resolve" for the rest of my working life in the form of increasing taxes to pay for the disaster that is your economic policy.
