1. Very encouraging numbers.
Maybe we can still hold some kind of seat in Florida...

3. Not with electronic voting and the MSM
Seriously, unless Nelson is leading in the polls by 50 points he will "lose".

I won't have much choice if I'm in federal prison. :(

4. Smith is a DINO
Maddox is my dark horse for the governor's nomination. He is a GREAT campaigner and would make a great governor.

6. I'm more of a Jim Davis guy myself.
I was saddened to see Rep. Davis support the bankruptcy bill but I still think he's our best chance to win. He was one of the first to condemn the Terri Schiavo fiaco in the House. I also think the fact that he is pro-life will help him keep the conservative Reagan Democrat vote.

That being said, I will gladly support Scott Maddox if he gets the nomination. I turn 18 in 2006...I look forward to turning Florida blue in my first election.

12. If Harris is on the ballot, expect high Dem turnout for an off election.
People whom she deprived of a vote in 2000 will turn out to vote against her. The Dems will sweep state offices. The state will have a clean election in 2008 and its electoral votes will go to the Dem presidential candidate. THis is why the Bushies are so desperate to have her knocked out in the primary.

I suggest that everyone do everything they can to encourage her to defy the Bush machine and run, run, run for that nomination.
