Are any Roosevelts in politics today?
Does anyone know of any decedents of FDR or Theodore Roosevelt serving in politics now? Just wondering.

1. Roosevelts
Don't know, but we could use a Roosevelt in office about now.

2. Wishful thinking
But wouldn't it be remarkable to see a family with such a great legacy put forth a candidate unexpectedly who possesses the charisma, intelligence, wit, courage and vision of their ancestors.

3. There are no leaders on the world stage
compared to Roosevelt, Kennedy, Churchill, Reagen. Just a bunch of incompetent media creations that are focused-grouped to death trying to say something appealing. Look how chimpy has fallen in the polls since he decided to destroy social security. The more he babbles the lower he goes.

5. Agreed.
There are no standouts, and everyone tries to say what they think will get them elected. We need someone with charisma...and some brains, of course.

about Social Security that quoted his grandfather. I can't remember his name and I don't think he's in politics.

ON EDIT: James Roosevelt, Jr. Link:

8. Thanks, everyone. Maybe some more of them should consider it.
We REALLY need some charismatic, intelligent, witty and strong leaders...I guess I hoped that the Roosevelt gene pool might prove more fertile.
