Most of my family are in Texas and Florida, and Zell being on the ticket would be TERRIBLE. Breaux, Graham or Edwards would be a MUCH better and more palatble choice for MOST Southerners, IMO.

I would have a hard time voting at all.

And I have voted in every presidential election since I became eligible.

There is no reason to have a republican on the dem ticket. There are many of us around this nation who fear for the very life of our republic because of the Bush junta.

That Miller has come out in support of Bush, to me, makes him the equivalent of the Vichy French.

I wish Miller would leave the democratic party...he is now part in name only anyway after his endorsement of Bush and his pander-book.

It's so strange to me that the south can ****always**** be wrong on every issue which affects this nation, yet can continue to have any influence on policy.

23. I've never understood

why someone would vote based on the bottom half of the ticket. The VP is powerless, except as the President chooses to delegate power to him. So if you were conservative, why would you vote for a liberal president just because he had a conservative on the ticket with him? Or the other way around? Someone explain why this would make sense.

that he was retiring I thought, ah - Miller wants VP job. but then Miller turned into a Republican. He's the anti-McCain. Anyway, Isakson will be taking Miller seat and hopeful Miller will rot and stop poking his nose in Democratic issues.
