Did anyone notice how fast FoxNews dropped coverage of President speech?

I was at work...everyone's talking about it on every channel...then when I went to gym and looked at TV's out on main floor, I noticed CNN was still doing post speech analysis and interviews with senators Evan Byeh (sp?) and Warner.

Foxnews had quickly gone to Heraldo and coverage of the "missing girl in Aruba" and other inane crap.

Must mean they knew it went over like lead balloon.

1. It could just mean that the average Fox viewer has a short attention span

No.. it's just that the average FOX News viewer has about a two second attention span.

"Oh look, Bush is speak ---- ooohh, look at all the pretty graphics on the screen -- oohh, missing white woman!"

3. Could be that after Wes Clark came on Faux shortly after the speech

and told the truth about this ELECTIVE WAR THAT THIS PRESIDENT CHOSE (his words), that 9/11 had nothing to do with Saddam; that we are creating more terrorists than would have existed if we hadn't invaded; that the President didn't give any specifics on why things are getting worse in Iraq; that * forgot to reconcile Cheney's "it's a wonderful Iraq....almost done" vs. the Commander that said "it's getting worse over there"....there was not much left to say.

The Faux drones had to sleep on what Clark said.....cause they were just hearing most of this for the first time, and didn't know quite how to digest it.

Plus Clark, started out lauding Bush for praising the Troops....which kills the notion that liberals hate the troops...so now, Faux viewers have do reconcile what they have been led to believe vs. what they saw with their own eyes and heard with their own ears. It will be a "difficult" endeavor, that's for sure!

I believe that the polls on * are just about to drop through the floor. Give it a few days....as the truth sinks in. There is always a delayed reaction when it comes to dummies!

5. I just think Dems have to SIEZE this initiative

the recent frontal and side attacks people like Cheney, Rove, and now Bush have tried as they see approval dropping to absolute lows show their fire power is nil.

Dems need to step forward into the vacuum as the shadow government which holds the key to righting this country just as soon as the people cede that authority to them FIRST by clearing the house in 2006.

Of course, every single day we should do something to register our disgust with the current state...but it should be with an eye toward the primary season of 2006.

I think Dems should work very hard to get only the most extreme and aggressive Repubgs out of the primaries so the Dem running against them is seen as the best alternative.

That's the first step. Then take up arms against them with frontal attacks on their lying as they promised leadership and honor and have clearly not delivered.

Easy, silly: It's because you lap it up." Greta recorded 2.8 million viewers near the end of last week, beating O'Reilly, but on Monday the Factor was back on top with 2.9 million viewers...

I believe even with all the channels it was on, he only got about 19million viewers nationwide. That's less than your average night of American Idol. By a long shot.
