What's the word on the Kerry letter?

The following Senators co-signed a letter requesting that Senate Intelligence Committee to reopen the investigation of pre-war Iraq intelligence failures and the Downing Street Memos:

Tim Johnson, Jon Corzine, Jack Reed, Frank Lautenberg, Barbara Boxer, Edward Kennedy, Thomas Harkin, Jeff Bingaman, Richard Durbin.

I understand the letter was submitted on the 22nd.

So now what?

1. Waiting to hear from the Intel Committee.

I can make a guess, though. I think Bush's speech last night helped our side, and I would think that at least 5 Democrats on the committee will ask for the official investigation.

And I wouldn't rule out Hagel joining them since he is being trashed personally by Cheney/
