Republicans buried their pay raise within the gov't spending bill
But they outright will vote down a minimum pay raise. I ask again, when will the American common working men and women wake up? Nothing Bush has done and nothing the Republicans have done since taking control of the government has benefited ordinary working men and women and has socked it to the poor. The only people who have benefited from Republican rule have been the wealthy (tax cuts) and illigal immigrants who are working for slave wages for corporate pigs. They benefit because they are not sent back to Mexico.

2. Congress has been doing that for decades. Usually they have to
vote it down to have it not go into effect. Nice huh. Wish I was in charge of my pay raises.

And you forgot the defense contractor and how well they're doing under the repubs - unless they're automatically put in the wealthy. But they're getting hard cash, and since they're no longer US corporations, but based in the Bahamas, any money they make is not taxable. So they have to tax cuts.

3. What a bunch of bum's they are,
what a fricking nerve. I hope someone posts a list of who didn't vote for it. That is no doubt the shorter one.
