help me out, please.... any politicians for "getting out now"?
I am writing my weekly newspaper column and want to know if there are any members of Congress who advocate immediate or fairly quick withdrawal of American troops from Iraq. I see that Kucinich is still arguing for that, but is there anyone else from either party? Thanks for your help... I am trying to draw a comparison between the anti-war movements of the 60s and 70s and the near total lack of such a movement now and simply noting that any public desire to get out of Iraq is thwarted by the near total absence of any political leadership to help focus and express it. In 1972, we had McGovern and a whole host of others for whom we could vote to express that kind of position. Now, nothing. Or am I missing someone? Thanks.

Any other thoughts you might have on this point would be read (and possibly "borrowed" for the column :) ).

3. thank you!..... do you get the sense they mean "now"?
The wording is a bit vague and could be interpreted as a "timetable" thing. What's your take?
