Candy Crowley (CNN): "The Dean campaign will go on"

She's been spending time with the campaign, and said that the mood is becoming upbeat again; she also said that while they would obviously prefer a win, they'll take a second-place finish. She said the campaign still has plenty of money and has absolutely no intention of 'closing up shop', regardless of what happens in NH.

Oddly enough, NBC just reported that their polls shows the race tightening, too, just like CNN's did. Tuesday should be very interesting, regardless. :)

Even though Dean may not win the TopSpot, he has a GIFT for rousing the public and plain talk.

Dean NEEDS to at least salvage his campaign to the point where he can be EFFECTIVE advocate for the Democratic Party.

He is too valuable to trash him.

I have differences with Dean and his positions, how he campaigned etc. but am smart enough to recognize someone who can move people.

She always has a positive word for Dean's campaign, and scathing criticism of anyone who dares challenge her preciousss one.

For my part, I hope Dean's campaign is turning around; he deserves to be judged fairly, not by excessive repetition of one event. Repetition, yes; excessive repetition, no. But Cowley has been so biased from day one that I don't take anything she says seriously.
