1. No DSM? Nah, I think you underestimate the British
How hard is it to focus on the cause of this bombing? I think this will ramp up the hunger for people to understand why this happened. And the answers are all too obvious.

3. MY GOD can't we hang with our UK brothers and sisters for a minute?
Let's not go this route for at least 24 hours.

I'm not saying you are wrong but I am saying that let's not :tinfoilhat: this till tomorrow.

4. Really. Let's take at least a few minutes and deal with this
The courts and the press will be there tomorrow let's let everyone concentrate first on treating the wounded, consoling the families, finding out who is responsible, and then go on from there.

5. Thank you for saying so simply and well what I was thinking.
This isn't a Michael Jackson distraction. It is as real as news was ever defined to be. Yes there are a ton of implications, some political, many of extreme importance to all of our futures, but it also a tragedy that is happening right now and many are hurting and many are dead. I don't want to hear Karl Rove's name today. Tomorrow is soon enough.

And of course I know that some will differ on this and of course people are and should be able to talk about anything they want. Just throwing in my two cents.

6. BushCo expects us to react with compassion and decorum
and when we do so, "they" get the reprieve so desired. Also, the intended effects of despair and fear enthrall most people and make them more pliable.

If we don't continue on message relentlessly, we can only blame ourselves for returning to the haltering mode of progress made so far. Do not cease from talking, writing, and swearing with vehemence against these criminal bastards.

7. What you say could be true...
but, for a moment, please channel all that righteous indignation into sending good thoughts to our British friends.

Later today, after we know what really happened, we may want to contact the media and remind them that the DSM, and the impeachable offenses of the Bush Administration are tied directly to what has just happened in the UK.

But, stop and take a deep breath, and send a good thought, and if you pray, maybe a prayer to all in the UK. Remember how we felt on 9/11.

8. The idiots on the Today Show have already mentioned Iraq
about a dozen times. Even went to their correspondent in Baghdad twice talking about the support the attacks have had by the fundamentalist groups in Iraq. They're trying their damndest to link this to Iraq to pull even more wool over the eyes of the idiots who still support the POS.

10. Um, it is linked to Iraq, it's linked to the fact that we invaded Iraq
Bin Ladin started his jihad against the U.S. originally because we established bases in the Saudi Arabian Holy Land. Al Quada is using Iraq as a training ground now that it is in chaos because of the invasion aftermath. Extremist recruitment is up and more are willing to become martyrs because the U.S. invaded an important Arab nation, Iraq.

All of this is separate of course from debating what if anything the U.S. should be doing in Iraq now.
