Will Britain pull out of Iraq like Spain?

I doubt it, only if Blair is ousted as Labour leader his successor will most likely pull out.

...be held and if Blair is outed by an anti-war candidate, the Brits will then pull out.

....although there could be shadow forces in Britain working against that process like here in the U.S. undermining the democratic processes. Sadly, short of impeachment or the recall crap that was pulled in California that outed Governor Gray Davis and got Schwarzenegger voted in, nothing like that exists here in the U.S.

5. They already are

They already are pulling troops out of Iraq.

Sure they're redirecting them to Afghanistan, but they are looking to have less then 2,000 troops stationed in Iraq after all is said and done.

4. Brits are already pulling out of Iraq

and moving their troops to Afghanistan over the next 18 months. It was announced a couple of days ago.

They say the number of British troops in Iraq could be cut to fewer than 2,000 over the next 12 to 18 months. There are some 9,000 there now. That would make it much easier for Britain to meet its commitment to take over the lead Nato role in Afghanistan from next May.

No matter what, the mess in Vietraq will have to be wrapped up in some kind of orderly way in order for us to pull out. We have to have the Brits or it will be more of a burden on us.
