So, when do we invade Pakistan?
A group claiming to be an al Qaida affiliate says it's responsible for the London bombings. The CIA says the leader of al Qaida's in Pakistan. Shouldn't we give them an ultimatum, just like we did in Afghanistan after 9/11? If they fail to turn him over, shouldn't we invade and overthrow their terrorist-harboring, Islamist government?

Get 'er done, George. We're waiting.

3. But it's not about the oil!
If we wanted oil, we'd just invade Canada. I mean, look at this map--hell, it'd be EASY...

6. Heck, we ought to invade Canada just because.
After all, when we tried it in the War of 1812, the British sneaked in from the South and burned Washington D.C. to the ground. We should never have forgiven the Canadians and the British for that. They hate us for our freedoms, which, after all, are on the march.

7. Gay marriage. Socialized medicine. Medical marijuana. Peter Jennings.
Canada is pretty much the Antichrist, as far as I'm concerned. We'd be making the world safer from everything that threatens to destroy the very fabric of society by liberating Canada from its oppressive regime. The oil's got nothing to do with it.

just because alqaida hangs out there and the village elders pass sentences of gang rape on family members doesn't mean we should cause them any problems

4. Not Pakistan
They need Iran to complete the Oil pipeline from Afganistan to Iraq to get shipped out.

Haven't you heard, bin Laden has been in Iran. Now we can go get him and every other person that stands in our way.

5. Pipeline, hell.
They need Iran for the OIL. Iraq's got a perfectly good oil terminal at Umm Qasr, just over the border from Kuwait. It was the first thing U.S. troops secured when the invasion started.
