John Kerry has convinced me, though I like Clark as well.

I think it is pretty clear that Kerry spent 6 years risking
his life in combat service because he saw it as duty to his country. I hear every man who served with him now campaigns for him. That is
a good testament.

The least we can do is give him a hearing.

I saw one house-party event which was really convincing -- mainly
in Kerry's ability to answer questions.

Not sure what this event will be. Hope he also answers audience questions.

8. The message of the Democratic Party

Hello Candy - the message of Howard Dean and the message of John Kerry is the mainstream message of the Democratic Party. So yes there are a lot of similarities between the two, as well as similarities to the other democratic candidates for President. So it is hard to say that any of them invented this message.

There are distinctions though, and I try to watch all the candidates every time I get a chance. Kerry is my first choice, but I find them all impressive.

I watch all the candidates and have to say, of Clark, Dean, Edwards and Kerry....Kerry is the least inspiring!

I also do not like his votes on IWR and Patriot Act. Will not vote for him on those issues alone. I have also have been reading some political history on his votes and am turned off even more.

Kerry began attacking Wes Clark and the other candidates. I've seen the flyers that are being distributed in NH and elsewhere. If Kerry gets the nomination, he will get my vote, but he has lost my respect.

Was my #1 until Clark entered, just think Clark is the better candidate. Due to his smearing Clark, particularly the statement on 60 min. tonight, will definitely be holding my nose if I have to vote for him.

He seems to have woken up. His performance there was much better than I have come to expect from him. He really did very well.

I still think Clark is a lot better in terms of the national security issue, cross-over appeal, uniting the country, and winning in the South. I also don't like that Kerry voted yes on IWR, not because he was voting for war but because it makes it more difficult for him to attack Bush on Iraq. Kerry will be painted as a northeastern liberal and a "Democrat-only" type of president. He will be painted as Dem establishment.

I would not consider a Kerry candidacy a certain loss. Judging from the polls, people are getting pretty sick of Junior. I still think Clark would be much more likely to beat Bush than Kerry, and I am not willing to take a risk at this point. I'll back Kerry strongly if he gets the nod, but I still want Clark to have the spot.

The longer this goes on, the more stuff the candidates steal from each other - Lieberman even started talking about poverty the other day!

...They all try to tell us that we can join a movement to change America...jobs, health care, taxes, etc. etc.

Everyone is saying the same thing and Kerry does it more boring than anyone else. I'd still vote for him though, because I believe in what he stands for, but I think we can put up someone better against Bush.
