9/11 happened before Iraq was anything more than a gleam in the neocons eyes.

Bush and Blair promised to get the people who attacked on 9/11. They let them go and went off chasing dreams of empire in Iraq. Thousands of people have died as a result.

Now they've attacked in London.

I think it was Gandhi who said that if everyone followed the "eye for and eye" arguement the entire world would go blind.

Those weren't Iraqis who attacked in London. The most likely culprits were Al Queda.

This sort of escalation was a predictable consequence of Bush and Blair's Iraq war. I believe that it was Hosni Mubarak who said that invading Iraq would create a thousand Bin Ladens.

Understanding the motivation does not make the attack justifiable.

7. How do you think the majority of Iraqis view the attack on London?

I don't know the answer to the question. I would guess a substantial number, maybe a majority, are glad that there was a counter-attack on one of the countries that attacked them.

I'm assuming there will be no polls of Iraqis, first because it's impossible for westerners or leave the Green Zones, and second because the administration doesn't want to know the answer.
