LISTEN TO THIS BOXER INTERVIEW THIS MORNING!

The interview took place on KGO radio at 9:00 a.m. Pacific time this morning. She did a kick-ass job of staying on topic and telling the TRUTH, eventhough the interview tried to make it more confrontational and twist her words.

This is the best inteview I have heard any Democrat give in a long time! (Right up there with Clark :-)).

8. Interviewer kept referring to "cowardly terrorists"

Really? I might suggest to the interviewer that this is a "war" and as such the enemy will fight the best way he knows how. If that means blowing up civilians that that's what he'll do. After all, how is that any different than dropping 2,000lb Daisy Cutters on Iraqi neighborhoods? Attempting to demonize terrorist as "cowardly" only blurs the true picture of what they can do, or what they are capable of.

And the interviewer should understand that this "war" was based on lies. A war for oil and greed. No doubt this fact is not discounted by the "terrorists."

I know in any war it is good policy to propagandize the "enemy" as "cowardly," "godless," "freedom-hating," etc. but in this case, we, including this interviewer, need to realize that we are the perpetrators of this violence and this hate. Saddam Hussein was an evil despot, but he was our puppet. To blame him for human-rights abuses 14 years after the fact in order to justify an invasion for his oil doesn't do anybody anygood.

And I just despise the "Well, we're there, so let's get the job done" argument.

He starts out with John McCain and then just talking to callers. Nothing else on there. 9AM, right? At that link. Is she buried somewhere in the whole hour? I just sampled it here and there, every few minutes, didn't find any Boxer anywhere.
