If we should happen to wrest control of our government from the claws of imperialism, we may, in part, be able to salvage what is left of our justice system. That is if the worst comes to pass and the Supreme Court becomes a bastion of the radicalism of the fascists, the corporations, and the religious right under the bushbots.

:) That is what the far right and the corporations are so ticked off with "liberals" about. He was trying to avert communism from gaining a foothold in the U.S., and it worked. They just see the "socialism" aspect and would throw the baby out with the bath water, so to speak. :)
