Well, maybe.

I just had a thought. Since all of us are a bit frustrated and disappointed with much of the Democratic leadership, and how they seem to want to play softball with the Republicans and the Corporate Powers That Be, maybe we should start fielding our own candidates...

DU is a liberal think-tank...maybe the very first one of its kind. Why don't we consider the possibility of using all this brain power to take the fight to DC?

I've even got a few campaign strategies up my sleeve.

Any thoughts?

3. They say all politics is local.

So it has to start small. I'm not a potential candidate--at least not where I live now. I've lived here since I was a teenager, and boy, are there some skeletons in THAT closet...LOL

But I like the idea that we're a think tank...if you take my "Oath of Good Government" idea, mix in my "Talking Points" concept, (both can be found at my blog http://sajewilliams.blogspot.com) you approach from a direction the Democrats in power aren't even seeing.

They give people with good ideas that can help the Progressive cause some air time...might even get you on for an interview.
