6. 7/22 was the extension requested by the US Attorney for the DoD.

The court-mandated deadline was 6/30. I posted on this earlier in the week. Basically, I found where the extension of the deadline to 7/22 was requested, but I could not find that the government's request was granted. However, it must have been granted or we would be hearing about contempt of court on the June 30 deadline.

8. Pentagon petitioned the court for an extention.

The said they were still reviewing the tapes frame by frame and they weren't finished. They wanted to release all photos together. The court granted an extention till July 22nd.

and there just may NEVER be a better time considering they seem to depict some explicitly horrid deeds by the guards and interrogators.

I don't trust these people. I can imagine they are going to doctor the footage to blur identities of perpetrators, etc.

10. And what happened to the Pentagon's actual recruiting figures

for last month? I think some Army General told the media that recruitment was up in June but he refused to mention actual figures. Did anyone see the actual report or did it ever come out?
