Wow...won't that come in handy as the DSM investigations are about to heat up. Oh, and the ratings....and Chimpy's poll numbers...and the 2006 elections...

I bet there's a lot of high-fiving and chortling over at the Fixed Newsroom. And America will bite the bait too.

2. I don't pay attention to this anymore
It's like the boy who cried wolf. We've heard this so many times now that when a real warning is going to come along, we aren't going to heed it. That and the fact that the fed keep investigating liberals and protestors who have nothing to do with terrorism =P

4. A Stopped Clock...
A stopped clock is right two times a day.
Unless it's set to 24 hour mode. In which case it's right once a day.

If the clock is electric, LED /LCD display then the clock is never right.

5. I doubt the public reaction would be the same as in 2001
He has been president for almost 5 years, and there will be a lot more scruntiny on the Administration as to why the attack was not intercepted.

And as for the Downing Street Memo, that story is on it's way into the large pile of other "Bush is toast" stories ranging from the August 6th memo, Bush's AWOL in the National Guard, Jeff Gannon/Fuckert, Enron, no WMD's and GOd knows how much else.

When you have a corporate owned media and a Republican COngres they are going to protect their president and keep these stories from ever becoming a threat to him.

6. You don't find the timing curious?
The DSM, Rove/Plame, Bush Impeachement, Rove Endictment, Supreme Court Replacements.... etc, etc, etc. And now, we have all the sheeple worrying about getting on the trains and busses instead? Best of all worlds on Planet Bus, if you ask me!

8. Not impossible
First of all, as most of us know, invading Iraq had nothing to do with terrorism and could not have made Americans or anybody else safer.

Second, in order to invade Iraq, the Bush regime had to remove resources from Afghanistan, where the terrorists were. They have regrouped.

Third, by invading Iraq, they turned the small-time punk Zarqawi into a mafia don; now he really is allied with Osama, where he wasn't before, and now Iraq really is a terrorist training ground, where it wasn't before.

Since invading Iraq, there have been major terrorist attacks in Bali, Istanbul, Riyadh, Madrid and now London. Bush does not have terrorists on the run, but they are running all over the world. His war on terrorism is a failure.

Let's all hope I'm wrong, but that there can be a terrorist attack on American soil in the near future is not unthinkable.

9. The only reason we haven't been attacked since 9/11
is al-quaida hasn't wanted to bad enough. Nothing * has done has made us any safer. It is way too coincidental that the London bombing happened during Plame, DSM, etc. How can this lyin' bunch of scumbags be so lucky? 24/7 hurricane/London bombings now. We can't let this stuff fall off the map.

10. It wouldn't surprise me at all.
Because I believe that George's adventures in Iraq have made us much less safe than we ever were.

13. Brit Hume proved he sees terrorist attacks as a money-making opportunity

"I mean, my first thought when I heard -- just on a personal basis, when I heard there had been this attack and I saw the futures this morning, which were really in the tank, I thought, "Hmmm, time to buy."

-Brit Hume, on hearing initial reports about the London attacks on 7-7

This stooge should be sent over to London and left off in a part of town where they'd turn his face into a bloody meat pie.
