Gallup: Kerry extends lead over Dean as Dems make final N.H. push
John Kerry continues to extend his lead in tracking polls — now 13 percentage points in front of Howard Dean — with just two days remaining before New Hampshire's Democratic presidential primary.

In the latest USA TODAY/Gallup/CNN poll, 38% of those polled leaned toward Kerry, while Dean came in second with 25%. Joseph Lieberman moved into third place (12%), ahead of Wesley Clark (10%). They were followed by John Edwards at 9% and Dennis Kucinich at 3%. (Related item: Latest poll results)

Results of the previous day's poll: Kerry, 35%; Dean 23%; Clark, 14%; Edwards, 11%; Lieberman, 10%; and Kucinich, 3%.
<snip>

Kerry, who has benefited from a bounce in the polls since Monday's Iowa caucus victory, is expected to compete in all seven states — particularly so if he finishes strongly in New Hampshire and receives an influx of new campaign contributions.

He, too, was giving new attention to Missouri, and hired Steve Elmendorf, a top aide to Gephardt for a decade. http://www.usatoday.com/news/politicselections/nation/primariescaucus/2004-01-25-nh-push_x.htm

2. What were the polls right before Iowa?
You live by the poll, you die by the poll.

14. I think Zogby had Kerry, Dean, Edwards, Gephardt
So second and third places were reversed.

Why is CNN using a graphic that shows the CNN/USA Today poll as showing it a 30-23 race? I just saw it again, and that's the numbers they're using.

Or another poll, perhaps?

10. nope.
They're using that graphic today, and NBC/MSNBC has it a statistical dead heat---28 to 25.

15. No.
I just saw the graphic on CNN after 5:00 CST this afternoon with the CNN/USA Today logo. Their poll may show the same numbers that Reuters/Zogby does, however. :)
