2. Yup...
And tomorrow's headlines will be focused on Hurricane Dennis; followed by the retirement of Rehnquist the rest of the week..

I'm still guessing Rehnquist gives his walking papers tomorrow or sometime this week.

The timing is too convienient. They want to run over the Rove story QUICK!

4. I was reminded recently of the party my parents threw
Edited on Sun Jul-10-05 11:39 PM by Hardhead
The day he resigned. All their democratic friends came over and had a big bash, with much merriment and frivolity (and some drunkenness). I was 9 years old and amazed at all the happy people. I asked my father what was going on, and he explained to me that the president was a crook, and needed to go to jail but had instead resigned and skipped town like a snake-oil salesman one step ahead of the sheriff. Then he went to join the dancing in the kitchen.
