It's not just Rove: Novak and Miller are Criminals!
Under the guise of journalists' rights to protect sources, Miller is being martyred and rehabilitated as the NY Times best war monger for Bush, and Novak is being totally ignored. He just continues to be recognized as a columnist and doproate media pundit.

In fact, they are both criminals, both ethically and legally. The best lines from this log say it all:

Why Novak and Miller are CRIMINALS:

Best lines from this blog:

"It was their responsibilty as journalists to inform the public that acts of treason were committed from within an admistration of a president for whom Americans were about to vote.

If the Plame case was about a child molester and not about treason would the public feel more outrage? Would reporters and Bush supporters think that Novak and Miller should spill the beans on the identity of their source had the source been a child molester?"

Read the full blog here:
http://tvnewslies.org/blog/?p=45

Just imagine if a child molester had revealed his crime to either journalist - and asked for anonymity as he was committing his atrocious act on the phone to the reportes. Would Miller go to jail rather than reveal the criminal she had spoken to? Get real people. We're all being had in the name of journalistic ethics.

1. I don't know about criminals -- but they SHOULD have told us!
They aren't protecting a whistleblower who's informing them about acts of malfeasance. They're protecting a criminal who used THEM as his accomplices.

This isn't about a journalist's right to protect his confidential sources. THAT's a principle worth defendning . But this particular source was actually committing a crime for political gains -- and putting in danger an innocent public servant, Valerie Plame.

2. And Miller hides behind her profession as a Journalist invoking
"source privilege immunity" when she didn't write a damn word in print on the story. That's some twisted thinking for ya. No Ms. Miller, you need to testify as a conspirator to hide a treasonous act against The United States of America. Just because you have the title of 'Journalist' does not give you immunity in this case. You have as much immunity as a Construction Worker does here in not speaking up on what you know. Peace.

3. With Novak, there's NO question...
This one's drivin' me crazy, cuz so many people seem to believe that Bob Novak is UNTOUCHABLE in all this...
And I don't buy that.

Novak should've been in jail months and months ago; he could've gotten the cell all homey and nice for Karl by now...
There's NO QUESTION about what HE did. HE took top-secret info and PUBLISHED it for all to see. What, is he NEW to this journalism game???

And people keep saying he didn't break any law... ?

I would think they'd have him dead-to-rights for treason--but I'm NOT a lawyer...
Still, this seems fairly straightforward to me, and I'm sure to many others as well... HE revealed this stuff, even MORE than Rove...
Where is his responsibility?
It's like Rove handed him a loaded gun... but he's the one who took aim at Plame's ENTIRE network and fired.
I'm NOT a lawyer (I LIKE saying that; gives me a nice warm feeling inside!), but I think it MORE than meets the definition... between Rove and Novak, you've got not just treason, but criminal conspiracy to commit treason...
But again, I'm not a lawyer... I don't even play one on tv...

STILL... he didn't just sell secrets to the Chinese, y'know? He alerted EVERY intelligence network ON EARTH of Ms. Plame's ENTIRE operation, for anyone who knows how to snoop even a bit... and that's what intelligence agencies do. They snoop.
So... I just don't get it.
Hope others with legal expertise or a helpful link will weigh in...
Cuz if there's NOT a law, there sure OUGHTA be, huh?

Y'know, this is NOTHING like the Pentagon Papers... and wasn't it Time Warner, along with the entire MSM, trumpeting that slogan "9/11 Changed EVERYTHING!" over and over to excuse the many grave wounds our own freedoms have suffered under these greedy incompetent boobs?
Well, maybe the laws about press people not revealing TRAITORS should change, like EVERYTHING else has changed... wouldn't that be kinda poetic?
If you discover a traitor, doesn't ANY citizen have a responsibility to blow the whistle on 'em?... and if you don't, isn't that aiding and abetting?
The MSM themselves have been and continue to be the GREATEST traitors to our country and its ideals, in their 5 years of silent complicity with this renegade and lawless administration... and now it's coming back to bite them on the ass! HA!
And if people really can't see the sense in having some balanced rules regarding a free press's responsibilities to the free country they inhabit, even so, I'm still keepin' an open mind; perhaps where a simple Treason charge against Novak cannot be applied, a high suspicion of Conspiracy to Commit Treason, along with his pal Karl, may do nicely...

And again, I'm NOT a lawyer, nor do I play one on tv... but I'll bet I'd be pretty damn good in the part!
If the money was right...

4. Judith Miller is soaked with the blood of tens of thousands of Iraqis
She's sinned against the soul of journalism by repeatedly penning stories she knew very well to be false, just to get us to go to war with that country. Saddam was a big meanie to Israel, that's why she faked, lied, distorted, contorted and invented things out of thin air.

To whom does she REALLY swear allegiance? It's certainly not to the United States of America, the profession of journalism or the human race at large. She's the worst kind of liar: one who hides behind rectitude to advance a selfish and narrow agendum.

There are limits to immunity just as there are limits to the 1st Amendment. I'm a fierce defender of the first amendment, but yelling "fire" in a crowded theater is out of line.

She should be sued for the lies about WMDs that she repeatedly reported before the war. It would be hard to think of a more despicable user than this woman.
