The freepers are starting to worry..
Edited on Mon Jul-11-05 03:29 PM by Roon
"This may finally be the manufactured "scandal" that has some traction for the Rats. Hope I am wrong. On the other hand, it really is inside-the-beltway stuff that should not resonate much with the public, although the Rats will turn it into a never-ending circus of investigations. I just have an uneasy feeling on this one, unlike the other bogus stuff they have thrown at the administration."

20. Joe Wilson has said...
There are many good career employees in the government. He considers Fitzpatrick to be one of them and he trusts his investigation.

What the COngress does with it is another story altogether.

Edited on Mon Jul-11-05 03:41 PM by politicaholic
there are so many...

Put them all in a hat and choose one...drum roll please...tada! It's the no-bid contract and subsequential $9 billion missing funds scandal of Kellogg, Brown, and Root (aka- Haliburton).

His quote applies to all scandals it seems doesn't it?

I guess the truth would be something like British intelligence has evidence that Saddam Hussein was procuring yellow cake or had WMD's.

23. their experience of scandal is limited to Whitewater
of course they think we manufactured this scandal like Watergate was manufactured.

Poor little pinheads. They really don't know there is an American stance that is protective of National Security and won't lie to get revenge on an enemy. All they know is their own "ends justify the means" leaders.

15. I went there to read
Edited on Mon Jul-11-05 04:02 PM by impeachthescoundrel
some of the things they had to say. I could only read five or six because I got a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. People actually think that way, don't they? I am almost 50 and have been through this divided country shit TWICE although this one is worse.

All I want is an end to it. That's why every morning when I get up I pray that they'll be ousted.

Let them worry.

I'm fresh out of sympathy for any of them.

"...I seriously doubt K. Rove would lie, not like this. He doesn't strike me as the duplicitous type"

OMG, is he/she serious?!?!?! What a perfect example of how completely out of touch these people are.

That's right buddy, have some more Kool Aid... :eyes:

We said the same thing about the DSM. Dont set yourself up for being let down. Wait for someone to be indicted first! This is what Rove wants!

19. Won't resonate with the public, huh? Heh.
Dream on, Freeptoids. This is no complicated land deal. This one can be summed up in a soundbite, just like us Mercans like our news.

They outed a CIA agent. Five words.

Add two more and you've got motive.

They outed a CIA agent. For revenge.

Hmm...secret agents, double-dealing, back-stabbing and revenge. And they think the public won't eat it up?

Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha. HA.

21. Man, they are SO uninformed, probably by choice
One idiot thinks Wilson is still an ambassador, they state without any evidence that "everyone knew she was CIA," they further state that she couldn't have been undercover doing anything important (yeah, recruiting WMD scientists from unfriendly countries is so unimportant), and blah blah blah.

It's a Democrat plot (even if Fitzgerald is a Republican named by a Republican president) and the stupidity just goes on and on and on. Hilarious. Thanks for the link.
