Rehnquist announcement will come tomorrow

Why? To take political heat off Rove.

That's why it didn't come Friday -- they're saving it for use as a media diversion... Novak was likely right about it coming Friday, and "someone" decided to postpone it.

They're right, though, the media will be diverted, at least for a day or two...

And nowadays, that could be enough time for Rove and lawyers to squirm outta this thing.

It'll be intersting to see.

I actually find it pretty funny that the MSM kept saying it was going to be tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow. But them tomorrow mever comes, huh?

I dont like the fact that President Bush gets to appoint two judges but he replaces a conservative with a conservative so I reluctantly accept it. Have a great night Danny.

argument is, the conservative he replaces a conservative WITH, will be on the bench a helluva lot longer than the original.

I think I just reached an emotional saturation point right now. Very little of what is going on phases me, and than when it does i go from 0 to 100 emotionaly speaking. I really dislike this administration.

6. My dad has a totally different theory

My dad thinks that Rehnquist is pissed as hell at Bu$h for saying that he wants to appoint somebody in the mold of Scalia and Thomas, implying that Rehnquist isn't conservative enough.

He thinks that Rehnquist will try to spite Bush by staying on for another term and then vacate during an election year, when it will be virtually impossible to get a confirmation.
