Does anyone else appreciate the supreme irony that this junta
touts women's rights and voting elsewhere in the world and is actively seeking to take away the basic right of women to make reproductive health decisions and have control over their own persons here? That there is a subgroup of their supporters who believe that the greatest problems in this nation stem from the American woman being given the right to vote? * should have is nose rubbed daily in this benchmark for democracy he's established and be forced to confront some of the statement his minions have made concerning women's rights.

1. What women's rights?
BushCo are complicit in dismantling women's rights in Iraq. They aren't doing anything to protect women's rights anywhere else...unless lip service counts.

2. The Bushites have taken irony to heights never even contemplated
before in human history, heights higher than Mount Everest, and there, what have they found? The Himalayas are melting from GLOBAL WARMING! (They really are.) And what will they be saying as they slide down the peak on a slushy, gooey avalanche of melting mountain? STOP GAY MARRIAGE!

3. I don't think they have a sense of irony so much as
extreme hypocrisy. MY sense of irony, however, has had quite a workout the last 5 years.

4. I agree. To have a sense of irony, one has to be intelligent enough
to think logically.

This crowd couldn't think logically if it meant the Rapture would come upon completion of the thought.
