PLAMEGATE - Some unanswered questions
Even though the White House isn't answering, there are still important questions to be asked.

When * and Chief of Staff Andrew Card elevated Rove to his position of deputy chief of staff earlier this year, did they know he had leaked this information?

As * campaigned on security and character last year, did he know of Rove's involvement?

Has * or Card never discussed the leak scandal with Rove, including the day the Cooper e-mail was revealed?

that also outed Plame who hasn't been exposed yet.

Hmmmm, who could that be? Didn't Bush consult a few lawyers some time back?

3. Speaking of questions and answers -- this is from WP
Washington Post staff writer Dana Milbank will be online Tuesday, July 12, at Noon ET to discuss Rove's role in the Plame leak.

4. This has probably been discussed and I missed it,
but how would Rove have access to the identities of CIA operatives?

5. Andrea Mitchel
Someone should tell Fitzgerald Andrea Mitchel stated on Imus in the morning when the story broke in 2003 that she was contacted by Rove and "offered" the story of Plame. She stated she turned it down.
It would seem Rove was on a "fishing trip", which establishes an intent to distribute false information, contrary to just guiding a reporter away from a false story.

Welcome to DU :hi:

Good point, I remember this. Suggest you post your thought as a stand-alone, it may receive wider attention.
