2) The rabid press never pressed Janet Reno like they did yesterday. (btw, Rush played ALL of the questions asked by the reporters. It was great!)
3) The CIA operative's name was already known
4) The left never cared about the CIA before. The left wanted to cut/dismantle the CIA. The left would have wanted Plame arrested simply for working at the CIA but now she works to their benefit.
5) Called Wilson a liar.
6) Said Wilson is getting a pass.

In essence, they're saying: The Democrats are behind this (Fitzgerald is a Republican), there was no crime because he never said Plame's name (no proof of that at all), it's a stupid law, everyone already knew what Plame did (a lie), she wasn't really an agent because she had a desk job (PJ O'Rourke tried that one this morning; does he think that undercover agents spend their days in raincoats on back streets in European capitals? Her job was to go to seminars, trade shows and the like and get next to scientists in unfriendly countries and try to recruit them for WMD info; when she wasn't traveling, I'm sure she had other duties, such as to conduct research so her bona fides remained in order), and it's all a PLOT against that nice Mr. Rove.
