Could Bush be afraid Rove will talk about 9/11 if he cuts him lose?
Aside from the fact that Rove, not Bush, runs the U.S. Government, Bush probably wouldn't dare cut Rove lose. Rove knows too much. There's the games in two countries, inside information about the games found on a supposed terrorist's computer, Bush's claim that he saw the first plane hit (close circuit TV?), Bush's lack of surprise on 9/11, the fact that standard procedure was broken with regards to intercepting astray airplanes on 9/11, the fact that Bush's first act after leaving the school on 9/11 was to flea (from fear of arrest?), the fact that a Fox news reporter who witnessed one of the planes hitting the twin towers said it had NO WINDOWS, the fact that Silverstein said they decided to pull building 7, the fact that the firemen said the buildings were brought down by explosives, the fact that a lead engineer for U. L. said that all theories except a controlled demolition were impossible, the fact that fire has never brought down a steel building, the fact that the airplane hitting the Pentagon came in on the side where the most damage could be done and made an impossible maneuver for a commercial airplane to hit the side under reconstruction, the fact that there's no evidence of any plane hitting the Pentagon, the fact that people are safely looking out the hit and open section of the WTC prior to the collapse, the fact that the fires are going out in the WTC when it collapses, the fact that Bush's poll ratings were down and he was in danger of being thrown out at the time of both 9/11 and London, the fact that Rudy was in both London and New York, the fact that Bob Fertik, Prosecutor Vincent Bugliosi, Congressmen Jesse Jackson Jr and others had called a press conference for the steps of the capital for 9/11 to discuss throwing Bush out of office (as the results that Gore had won the Florida recount were available but were put on hold as a direct result of 9/11), the fact that London directly caused the G-8 countries who were planning to go against Bush on global warming to do a turnabout, the fact that military explosives were used in London, and all the other overwhelming evidence connecting Bush to 9/11 and London. Let's not be like the Germans. Let's discuss this here while there is still time to save America.

1. No....
this group are as thick as thieves (well, they ARE thieves) and one of them will never rat out on another.
They all started together and will go out together, one way or another.

2. I'm sure Rove has enough dirt on Bush
And Bush knows it. It's part of the GOP checks-and-balances system. Everyone has enough Dirt on eachother to lock everyone up for life.

4. Rove's pattern is to save or fabricate evidence on everyone.
He also has a pattern of extreme vengeance against the smallest of infractions. The people who work and play with the boy genius probably have a very clear idea of what Rove might do if he feels someone betrayed him.
Working with Rove is like working with a demon.
1. You wouldn't work with him if you cared about your soul or decency.
2. You know he is going to use you horribly.
3. Everything you do will be done in the most cruel and vicious manner.
4. If you break your deal or he decides you have broken your deal he will burn you.
5. He keeps record of every evil you do.
6. You cannot reciprocate by threatening something he loves.
7. There is no graceful exit from the relationship.
8. He hates mercy.
9. He has already planned how to get even with you.
10.His is a house united.

This being the case, I suspect that Rove is avoiding small planes right now.

5. Ever seen the movie "No Way Out"?
with Kevin Costner and Gene Hackman. I picture Rove to be like Will Patton's "Scott Pritchard" character in that movie, except maybe not killing himself in the end. I think BushCo and Rove are one and the same, after all they don't call him Bush's Brain for nothing. Rove would do anything to protect BushCo.
