FYI: Yesterday Randi Rhodes said that Sirius dumped them.
She told listeners to complain to Sirius, not AAR.

1. Not a "dump" so much as passing on an opportunity to outbid XM
Still not good, but I don't know that "dump" is the right term :)

5. Bid schmid. Bottom line still hasn't changed and it's that Sirius
subscribers got the shaft. Period.

The folks at AAR could care less about those who paid up the nose to support AAR by subscribing to Sirius thereby helping their year one numbers.

And the folks at Sirius are stupid.

9. Listen I am Sirius subscriber and like you am not thrilled
but as idealistic as we would like to be they have to survive, and if it means getting revenue to do that, they have to do that. It is more important that liberal/progressive radio, in whatever form surive and grow

That is our only hope to take back the media

3. Ironically I called Sirius yesterday and cancelled over AAR / Rhodes
I specifically told thm that I missed AAR, but if they couldn't find a way to get Randi Rhodes on, then I would have to cancel. They are refunding most of my annual subscription.

4. Really?
So far, I like Sirius Left. But it's good to know they let you cancel.

7. I cannot stand Lynn Samuels. They desperately need someone
else for that time slot.

8. I heard only about 5 minutes of her today
Is she that one who shrieks on that horrible commercial?

Hey scout, check the KS board for details about our meetup. :hi:
