Has anyone asked George Jr point blank if he asked Rove if he was the leak
I mean just that: "Did you ever ask your advisor Karl Rove if he was the one who leaked the identity of Valerie Plame?"

There is NO way he can answer that question that isn't damning. He'll plead no-comment and that's as bad as anything else he could say (well, almost). Democrats and responsible people in the media and press could then report "The President refuses to even state whether or not he ever asked his assistant Chief of Staff if he was the leak, even though Ambassador Wilson made it very clear over two years ago, that he believed Rove was the guilty party."

Someone's gotta ask the question, and you can't ask Scottie, it's gotta be George Jr.

1. Great point !
However, our beloved prez does not allow any unscripted Q's.

Our best hope is that another world leader, or someone overseas, would pop the Q on him.

2. exactly
THAT is the question!
Bush most decidedly does NOT have to "wait until the investigation is completed" to ask his right-hand man a simple question!
I HATE THEM!!!

5. Good point, but that's a question he can (and must) answer "no" to
even if it's a lie, he can't say yes or he's cooked once and for all.

It's gonna come to that, though :)
