How about this.

BushCo want to invade Iraq to finish Gulf War I.

Bush, Cheney, a bunch of other NeoCons and Ahmad Chalabi are in cahoots to fix the intelligence on Iraq. Ahmad Chalabi is associated with the Iraqi National Congress, which is funded by the US. BushCo is also very familiar with Chalabi. (This exposes more BushCo lies, by the way.)

Chalabi is the BushCo dupe to push the Iraqi WMD info to prepare the US public for war.

The documents that claim Iraq is trying to buy Uranium in Niger are forged and leaked to the Italians, and are used in the State of the Union 2003.

All during the run-up, Judith Miller is printing Ahmad Chalabi's crap about WMD in Iraq. Judith Miller is the press dupe to get the word out to the public about WMD in Iraq for BushCo.

Joe Wilson embarasses the administration by saying they knew before the State of the Union that Iraq didn't attempt to obtain Uranium in Niger. His op/ed is printed July 6, 2003.

So, the plot to expose his wife, in which Judith Miller is again involved. Robert Novak prints his column outing Plame July 14, 2003.

December 2003 Plame leak investigation names Fitzgerald special prosecutor after Ashcroft recuses himself.

May, 2004, Reporters are subpoenaed to testify before the Grand Jury on the Plame leak.

On May 19, 2004, the US stops payment to Ahmad Chalabi and on May 20 raided his offices. (He is discredited at this point and Bush denies knowing him.)

In June 2004, Bush and Cheney are interviewed by the Special Prosecutor.

July 2005, Judith Miller goes to jail rather than reveal her sources and testify before the Grand Jury. It's reported by some news outlets that she's afraid of the power of the government, and that's why she won't testify.

What if they reason why she won't talk is because she knows too much about the BushCo Chalabi Iraqi WMD information fixing links? If Fitzgerald is probing information fixing in conjunction with the outing of Plame, questions could be asked of Miller if she were forced to testify. The WHY of the outing is important to prosecution of any crime, and thus it would be explored for background to make the crime understandable to the jury.

2. I think what was surprising to me when I did this bit of research...

...is that Chalabi is British and lived for a long time in Britain. Recall that the Brits were heavy behind the Iraqis buying Uranium in Niger story. Chalabi was also in neck deep with the NeoCons and Judith Miller. Chalabi and the INC were also feeding Iraqi WMD info to Italy, which is where the forged documents were found indicating Iraq was attempting to purchase Uranium in Niger. I would suspect Chalabi and the INC of acting on their own except they were funded by the US and had ties with the CIA.

I also found it quite strange that Chalabi was discredited around the time Fitzgerald started really digging into the reporters and BushCo over the Plame leak.

The question is - did Iran use Chalabi (which I have doubts about since I don't think Iran would want the US in the middle of Iraq as well as in Afghanistan), or did BushCo use Chalabi to manipulate the US? Whatever went down, Chalabi was a key player.
