Who warned Bush about the danger of the Iraq war?
Edited on Wed Jul-13-05 11:49 PM by kansasblue
Lots of people did! But who said this?

"And I warned him about this war. I had deep misgivings about this war, deep misgivings. And I was trying to say, 'Mr. President, you had better prepare the American people for casualties.' "

"I mean, the Lord told me it was going to be A, a disaster, and B, messy," "I warned him about casualties."

Pat Robertson

1. Bush was warned by the U.N., the French
and German leaders, Weapons Inspectors, Throngs of Protestors from all over the world and a few Generals.

Pat Roberton can get at the end of that line---------->

Why the CIA thinks Bush is wrong
The president says the US has to act now against Iraq. The trouble is, his own security services don't agree.

The letter also comes at a time when the CIA is competing with the more hawkish Pentagon, which is also supplying the White House with intelligence on the Iraqi threat.

3. Interesting. The Lord told Robertson
it would be a messy disaster.

But Bush said the Lord told HIM to go smite Saddam.

Without, of course, telling him where the weapons were.

Either God has a nasty sense of humor, or there is more than one god involved here.

Which is it?

5. John Cameron Swayze
during a commercial break, but Edgar Rove told Charlie McBushit that John said, "Iraq will take a licking, and you will keep on ticking". Charlie smiled and said, "Bring 'em on".

6. His father. The biological one. Y'know: G.H.W. Bush. #41.
"Wouldn't be prudent."

"Listen to me, Junior!"

"You'll be sorry!"

"Well, I wouldn't go into Bagdad!"
