We know that George has had Karl by his side directing things from behind the curtain (pay no attention to the man behind the curtain) since he was Governor of Texas. Who would he turn to for advise if Rove was in the slammer and Cheney's ticker shut off permanently? What would happen if W was separated from his brain and Cheney kicked the bucket?

rove will get pardoned for anything he has done. Because he's not elected he can take the fall for Cheney who is probably the leak. Cheney has more to gain by creating chaos.

Even if.. and we all know that's a big =IF= Rove is given his walking papers, they'll rig a way where he's still controlling the scenes from behind the curtain.
