Only 20 GOP show up for anti-Dean rally and scream contest. Failure.
Let's see, Dean drew over 700, they had to change venue for space, and the GOP only had about 20. Zulch Zulu said some of them were elected officials I think. Not much enthusiasm there. The guy in the orange shirt looks just plain silly. Embarrassing. That is the right wing radio host, Vicki McKenna on the far right, who love to post with a flag. (pic at bottom)

"Republicans scream at own Dean event
In a press release that heralded the event with the headline "Anger Alert," the Republican Party of Wisconsin said Dean was "clearly out of touch with reality" and prone to "outrageous outbursts."

But with their own party wrapped in what looks to be a growing national scandal, few in the audience of about 20 or so were willing to comment on Dean's message or the administration's alleged leak of a CIA agent's identity.

"I just came down here to see what Vicki was up to," former state Sen. Bob Welch said."

The screamer and patriotic Vicki

3. Oh please
we had close to 50 people show up for our protest at KTLA a couple of weeks ago.

That was basically word of mouth with help from Stephanie Miller mentioning it once and me calling Randi Rhodes.

This slag was probably promothing this shit for days.

What's this all about? Never heard of it. *sigh* You miss the news one day and you are out of the loop on what appears to be a hilarious joke

10. Dean was in Madison, state WI Repub website called for anti-Dean rally.
Guess it did not work very well. I thought it was so dumb for the SC Repubs to have one, and the video from there was laughable. All those young Republicans should go to Iraq.

There was a post here last night, should have referred to it.

I was at this rally in Des Moines the night of the Iowa caucus and I missed the whole thing.

Remind me never to leave the warm glow of faux news again.

8. Hmmm, is Ms. McKenna a scofflaw?
I refer the gathered masses at DU to 4 U S C 1 § 3 (the emphasis is mine):

"Any person who, within the District of Columbia, in any manner, for exhibition or display, shall place or cause to be placed any word, figure, mark, picture, design, drawing, or any advertisement of any nature upon any flag, standard, colors, or ensign of the United States of America; or shall expose or cause to be exposed to public view any such flag, standard, colors, or ensign upon which shall have been printed, painted, or otherwise placed, or to which shall be attached, appended, affixed, or annexed any word, figure, mark, picture, design, or drawing, or any advertisement of any nature; or who, within the District of Columbia, shall manufacture, sell, expose for sale, or to public view, or give away or have in possession for sale, or to be given away or for use for any purpose, any article or substance being an article of merchandise, or a receptacle for merchandise or article or thing for carrying or transporting merchandise, upon which shall have been printed, painted, attached, or otherwise placed a representation of any such flag, standard, colors, or ensign, to advertise, call attention to, decorate, mark, or distinguish the article or substance on which so placed shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $100 or by imprisonment for not more than thirty days, or both, in the discretion of the court. The words “flag, standard, colors, or ensign”, as used herein, shall include any flag, standard, colors, ensign, or any picture or representation of either, or of any part or parts of either, made of any substance or represented on any substance, of any size evidently purporting to be either of said flag, standard, colors, or ensign of the United States of America or a picture or a representation of either, upon which shall be shown the colors, the stars and the stripes, in any number of either thereof, or of any part or parts of either, by which the average person seeing the same without deliberation may believe the same to represent the flag, colors, standard, or ensign of the United States of America."

Just asking. I'm sure the patriotic Ms. McKenna would never, e-e-e-ever wrap herself in the flag for any such crass purpose as advertising or self-promotion.

9. ROFLMAO!
A whole twenty people showed up? I've seen bigger crowds waiting outside porta-potties. hehe

I love how the article points out that this event was held IN A CORNER "of the State Bar and Grill." Not the whole bar itself, just a corner. Let's 'em know just how trivial this event was. Ya think those 20 folks who showed up felt like morans, expecting a big crowd, and only seeing a dozen or so other people? "Gee, are we at the right place?" "Is this the correct night?"

He is a piece of work:

WAUKESHA (AP) -- A former state senator will have to register as a sex offender and must remain on two years' probation after pleading guilty to sexual assault last month, a Waukesha County judge ruled Thursday.

27. Club Gitmo shirt is really making me angry and bitter.
This idiot wearing that shirt from Rush's site is a symptom of how hateful this country has become. It just makes me sick! How dare they act like such fools, and do things that are so hurtful. How can they be so ugly? The more I think about it the angrier and more bitter I get. This guy should be in Iraq fighting if he hates these guys so much. I am furious.
