According to the Rove leak, Plame was responsible for sending Wilson to Niger - no "clerk" that I ever knew had that much power!!

If Valerie Plame was a "mere clerk," how could she have gotten the CIA send Joe to Niger? But if she did have enough power to send him, presumably she was a "real" agent whose identity shouldn't have been disclosed.
