Rep. Peter King spinning furiously for Rove on CNN's American Morning!
Edited on Fri Jul-15-05 09:02 AM by flpoljunkie
King amazingly ended the interview with Soledad O'Brien by saying that Karl Rove "should be given a medal." A medal for what you might ask. According to King, Rove was "defending the President of the United States against Joe Wilson's lies." Am not sure what he meant by this ridiculous assertion--except King repeated the British assertion that Dubya's infamous 16 words in the January, 2003, SOTU speech were "well founded"--an assertion that has been roundly questioned on both sides of the Atlantic.

A desperate and definite ratcheting up of the stakes in the defense of Karl Rove. What does Karl Rove have on Peter King? The man is willing to make an abject fool of himself on national television defending "Turd Blossom."

2. Some good questions there
From the incredibly shallow, transparent and desparate lies the neocons are telling in this matter (Peter King and Norm Coleman)I can only conclude that whatever the hell is REALLY going on, the stakes are astronomically high.

We may be on the verge of something truly historical.

It's beginning to look that way to me anyway....

6. He's from Long Island
His district is eastern Nassau County on Long Island. I don't know much about the area. Does anyone else?
