Let's talk about treason in the White House ...
The New York Times is a nexus of suspicious activity. As we know, Judith Miller is currently sitting in jail because she refuses to name her source in the Plame leak.

Judith Miller also published false WMD reports in the run-up to the Iraq war, many at the instigation of Chalabi, who was funded by the US Government and deep in with the Bush Administration:

http://slate.msn.com/id/2083736
http://slate.msn.com/id/2086110
http://ajr.org/Article.asp?id=3057

The Guardian thinks Chalabi was a spy for the Iranians. We're supposed to believe that the Iranians, who hate us and think we're trying to destroy them, set up an intelligence operation to invade Afghanistan and Iraq so they can feel SAFER?

http://www.guardian.co.uk/Iraq/Story/0,2763,1224075,00.html

We also know that Chalabi was discredited as an Iranian spy in May, 2004 - the same month that Fitzgerald subpoenaed Judith Miller to testify in the outing of Valerie Plame.

We know the most recent White House friendly piece (from Rove's lawyer?) hit the New York Times first last night (I'm a witness).

This morning, I found another odd nexus.

Judith Miller was sent a hoax anthrax letter in the midst of the Anthrax attacks:

http://www.fas.org/bwc/news/anthraxreport.htm

Judith Miller also wrote an anthrax piece in 1999:

http://www.phaster.com/unpretentious/uzbekistan_anthrax.html

We know that the anthrax from the attacks was genetically traced to a US facility. We know that live anthrax letters were sent only to Democrats - Leahy and Daschle.

Cheney tried to tie the Anthrax attacks to Iraq:

http://www.mtholyoke.edu/acad/intrel/bush/meet.htm

Cheney and Scooter Libby both indicated the Anthrax attacks had a state sponsor (this would be AFTER it was known the Anthrax was traced back to a US Facility):

http://www.washtimes.com/commentary/20031020-090014-1512r.htm

This isn't tinfoil stuff - these are facts.

Could any of this be in the redacted portion (8 pages!) of the Judith Miller contempt decision? Is it any wonder why she's willing to go to jail so she doesn't have to testify about what she knows to the Grand Jury?

1. I forgot -
Let's not forget that the leak of Noor Khan's apprehension in Pakistan also appeared in the New York Times. As is now being reported, this leak may have led to the London bombing.

We should start calling the NYT the nexis of evil.

2. Plamegate...
...is but the surficial pimple of a deep disease emanating from the highest levels of the White House.

The disease has grown, unseen by most and aided by scum such as this Miller, into a life threatening condition.

Only by a lopping of of the highest most levels of the WH will the democratic body, known as the US, survive.

6. Why not take all of them? Lance the boil and let the infection out.
When history looks back I pray they say we stopped this sickness and we were heroes.

7. Good info....
This just affirms the growing feeling I've had that Millers reasons far staying quiet go far beyond the publicly stated and marketed reason "of standing on the principle of protecting her sources". It makes no sense to be protecting a source that set you up w/ lies and distortions...seems more and more like she is protecting herself....from who? and for what specific reason is what this inquiring mind would like to know.

8. The NYT is the Sybil of the News Industry- definitely suffering from
MPD (Multiple Personality Disorder)

God knows, I have always thought that the the NYT was indeed the pinnacle of the industry and really reported "all the news fit to print" and I always thought they had the very best and the very brightest and I still believe that to some extent. They are the home of the very best editorial writers in the country ( Paul Krugman alone makes buying the NYT worthwhile)

But Judith Miller? She is very like Jayson Blair or that Washington Post writer Janet Cooke that had her Pulitzer snatched away. I think Judith Miller doesn't want to face a Grand Jury inquisition because she would definitely be heaped in their ranks if she actually had to talk about her sloppy reporting. She was a mouthpiece plain and simple. I bet she doesn't want to talk about how and in what ways she was compensated by this administration. I think she is silent due to self-interest above all other.
