Rove/Plame/Cooper questions.

So, the latest GOP talking point is that Rove learned of Plame from Reporters and was not the leaker. If that is the case, then why didn't Cooper's notes have his original source instead of Rove? Or have we not seen all of Cooper's notes? If we haven't seen all of Cooper's notes, then who was responsible for the article that named Cooper's source as Rove?

Rove was Cooper's source, but he is trying to claim that he just passed info on from Novak to Cooper without knowing it was classified.

As if.

Rove probably knew, and even if he didn't, he was obliged by his NDA not to confirm or deny it, and to check into it before passing it on.

2. That is what I thought.

I'm just tossing out questions that would need to be answered if it was the other way around as the new GOP talking points suggest. Cooper's notes didn't have another source, so how could Cooper have told Rove. Cooper's testimony could support a perjury indictment against Rove in addition to any other indictments for actually leaking, if Rove testified that he learned it from Cooper.

but someone leaked that info, maybe not Rove, maybe someone else, maybe a bigger fish to fry.
